summer

by Ash - Aquarius

There we were sat down
All of us awaiting dawn
Not really as we are now getting old
I can't say grow as we never were told

It is the same step
But maybe not as inept
Nowadays to the fast going pace
Not really fathoming anything about the place

Did we all catch our butterfly
Or as half would say settle easily
Somehow we didn't settle, surely
We would not fall to that level of insanity

We didn't, and interestingly not
But that never was the question of the spot
The cube said we end at the beginning
Like a mathematical poetic reading

As we stare in another autumnal sun
Looking at the leaves burn
Occasionally wondering about the where
We reach the there
